Well, we've put it off for as long as we could but we're sorry to say it's time to review our prices. Since opening our doors eleven years ago we have raised prices just once, in 2022 (from £60 per hour to £65 per hour). Cost pressure from our suppliers (rent, oil, laundry, bed sheets, utilities) has been relentless, and we need to be able to attract and retain talented massage therapists, so it's time to look at another price rise. It's the last thing we want to do, so we want to give you plenty of notice and explain here in more detail why we must.

Below is a chart showing UK inflation in the personal services sector re-based to our hourly massage price, going right back to 2015 when we first opened. You can see that our previous price rise four years ago "caught up" to inflation. Since then, personal services prices have carried on going up.

If we are to "catch up" to inflation once again, we would have to put our price up to £75 for a 1-hour massage. Plenty of good central London massage shops are already around and above this level. But we also know there are many smaller shops keeping prices in the £60-65 range. We won't detail the accounting practices of these shops (which put us at a disadvantage) but we must still compete. We have decided to raise our prices by £5, to £70 per hour (and to £100 for 90 minutes).

This way we absorb half of the pain of the inflation, and pass on half to our customers. We all sincerely hope that our loyal customers stick with us, and that new customers find that we represent a good value for an excellent quality massage.

The new prices will be effective from 1 September 2026. Gift vouchers are still available from reception (at either branch) at the "old" prices until 1 September, and we'll honour them when redeemed. We also have a limited number of small discount vouchers available - if you have read this far then mention this post to reception after your next massage!
